2022 High School Summer Programming and Dates

RAHS ETS PROGRAM: ETS, Mr. Lueken, and Mr. Grant will work with all of our athletes this summer. Trainers will be working with athletes of all sports on strength, game and top speed, deceleration, injury prevention, energy system development. and nutritional implementation 4 days a week [Monday-Thursday] during the summer and also with our program in-season [which creates important training continuity]. Girls only entering grades 10-12 [7-8:30 am] and girls only entering grades 8-9 [11-12:30 pm].

Even though our summer program was very successful I feel it is important to limit the pull on our players’ time and energy. If you are a multi-sport athlete this will ‘count’ not only for soccer but for the other sports you play. You won’t have to feel like you have to give up your entire summer lives for RAHS sports!  Another great thing about the ETS program is that the sessions are for girls only [see attached calendar and program calendar].

$150. To register CLICK HERE.

HIGH SCHOOL CAMP: Roseville Girls Soccer will hold a program mini-camp for all incoming 9-12 graders on July 25-28 from 10-Noon at the High School. During camp we will preview training activities [both technical and tactical] and systems to be used during the season. The cost of the mini-camp is $80 and registration and payment can be made directly to Cave on the day of camp. All girls planning on playing in 2022 are strongly encouraged to attend.

All Returners Camp participants are required to wear the program training uniform. New players should show up early to purchase the training uniform the first day of minicamp [$10/shirt, $20/shorts].

8th GRADERS ON HIGH SCHOOL TEAMS:  Rising 8th graders interested in trying out for a high school team [Varsity or JV] are required to participate in the High School Camp in July. After the camp the coaching staff will determine if a high school tryout is appropriate and an invitation could be extended at that time.

MANDATORY PROGRAM MEETING: Our mandatory program meeting will be held at 7pm on Thursday, August 11 in the new RAHS Commons.  This is an opportunity to meet the coaches, hear from Coach Cave, purchase training uniforms, hear from the Boosters, order spirit wear, and ask questions. Please schedule last minute trips around this meeting [and of course tryouts].

MANDATORY TRY-OUTS FOR PLAYERS 9-12 ALL players are expected to attend ALL try-outs starting on Monday, August 15.  Please have all paperwork complete (school and program), water bottle filled, and equipment on  [including training uniform] prior to the start of the session. All dates and times are posted on the program calendar.

All players must also complete the electronic Roseville Girls Soccer Player Information Form online. The link for this form will be posted on the girls soccer program website shortly after July 4th. This form includes pertinent player and family contact information. If you have any questions please contact me. Click Here for the RGS Player Information Form.

PROGRAM CUTS & ROSTERS:         The RGS program designates teams by talent and not by age, grade or past team designation. The Roseville Girls Soccer Program hopes to field 3 teams [Varsity, JV, and a C-Squad] with approximately 18-20 players on each team. This means not all seniors will make the varsity team and players could end up on the same team
